On FW: Just Another Job Listing
I was intrigued by everything about this...the boring office work, the urine shots and of course the striptease lessons. A true tale.

The Rhizome 50,000 Webpage

Like the Million Dollar Homepage before it, Rhizome's 50k Webpage is an attempt to raise money by people's purchases of pixels. I bought 20x20 for $20 with a link to my Twitter account.

Palin Vetting Questions
A.B. Culvahouse, a powerful Washington lawyer and former counsel to President Reagan, told an audience of Republican lawyers that for McCain, selecting a vice president came down to three questions: Why do you want to be vice president? Are you prepared to use nuclear weapons? And the CIA has identified Osama bin Laden, but if you take the shot there will be multiple civilian casualties. Do you take the shot?

Footage of Fixed Gear ‘Red Hook’ Race
Although the New York Times did a nice job poetically describing this weekend’s Red Hook Criterium—just read the opener—here’s some excellent video footage of the outlaw fixed gear bike race that shockingly resulted in no injuries for the cyclists involved.
